Cleveland Ohio Comic Con and Superfan Expo Recap

Hello again, everyone. Hope your Christmas was as good as mine! But now I'm back with some comic convention news for you. Yesterday was the first gathering of the CLEVELAND OHIO COMIC CON AND SUPERFAN EXPO at the Strongsville Holiday Inn. This smaller convention was organized in under a month and relied solely on social media and word of mouth to advertise itself.
The turnout was respectable for a holiday weekend: a couple hundred people showed up. Nevertheless, the crowd was great, the people were fun and entertaining, and there was plenty of door prizes and raffles for all. In a way, this year's con was a "test run"; the con's organizers wanted to see how many people would attend even with the holiday weekend and lack of organized advertising working against them.
Considering the number of people that showed up, I'd say the Cleveland Ohio Comic Con and Superfan Expo will be making a return in 2016. Next year's con will be more promoted and have a larger attendance than this years. Who knows: maybe it will become a part of my annual comic convention touring schedule...
