Free Comic Book Day 2016

Hello again, comic book super fans! I hope you all had a blast on Free Comic Book Day 2016! I was fortunate enough to be invited to York Comics & Cards in Parma Heights to perform sketches and other artwork to raise money for charity. The turnout was spectacular: when the doors opened at 10:00 AM, the line was already wrapped around the building, and the store was quickly packed with comic enthusiasts both young and old eager to get a hold of some free stuff!

The highlight of my day, by far, was drawing for the kids who came out to enjoy all the superhero fun. I let this little man sit with me and watch as his idea came to life; he loved it, and I loved seeing the look of joy on his face when he finally saw the finished product.

Hopefully you didn't miss out on all the fun this year, but fret not—Free Comic Book Day is always the first Saturday in May. If you weren't able to come out this year, there's always next May! As always, I'll post when and where I'll be on FCBD; see you then!
